Cornucopia is largest fundraiser for hunger-prevention nonprofit

The start of Denver’s largest campaign to reduce food waste was announced at Cornucopia, the signature fundraiser for Colorado’s leading nonprofit hunger-prevention and waste mitigation agency, Metro Caring.
Save the Food, Share the Food is part of a nationwide effort to “rescue” food that would otherwise end up in a landfill and redistribute it to those in need.
Denver is the third city to participate in the program that is overseen locally by Metro Caring. The goal loca
