Commerce City Arrest Officer In Shooting, False Reporting Case

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Commerce City have arrested a police officer for false reporting in connection with a shooting the occurred on Sunday.
Police said Officer Kevin Lord made a false report in regards to a shooting by a man during what he claimed was a traffic stop in Commerce City.
Lord has been arrested on suspicion of attempt to influence a public official and false reporting. He was arrested about 8:15 p.m. Friday and booked into the Adams County Detention Center.
