Colorado State Trooper Struck, Killed By Truck On I-25

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) – A Colorado State Patrol trooper was struck and killed by a commercial motor vehicle on Interstate 25 Friday afternoon.

The crash took place at 1:30 p.m. south of Castle Rock near Tomah Road north of Larkspur. The trooper was investigating a crash at the time.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the death.
