Colorado Sheriffs Handed Another Loss In Gun Lawsuit

DENVER (AP) – A group of Colorado sheriffs has been handed another legal defeat in their challenge to gun restrictions enacted in response to 2012 mass shootings.
A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that a lower federal court improperly heard the sheriffs’ challenge to 2013 laws limiting the size of ammunition magazines and expanding background checks on firearm purchases.
