Colorado Senate gives final approval to bill increasing access to public records

A measure to increase access to digital public records and open the judicial department to transparency won final approval Wednesday in the state Senate.
The 21-14 vote now sends the legislation to the House, where it faces an uncertain future after the Republican-led Senate added amendments that the Democratic-controlled chamber rejected earlier this session.
