City Park Golf Course Detention Pond Plans Concern Neighborhood

DENVER (CBS4)– The neighborhood surrounding City Park Golf Course is concerned about plans to create a storm water detention pond.The areas of concern include the golf course property at York and 26th Avenue and the Cole Neighborhood where a 10-foot deep retention pond will be built. The pond will be built under the course, not on top.“If they can do that and keep the integrity of the golf course, I’d be for it,” said Denver resident Bill Knobbe. (credit: CBS)
