Charlotte Mayor Makes Good On Super Bowl Bet

DENVER (CBS4)– The mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina was in Denver on Wednesday to make good on her Super Bowl bet. Before the Denver Broncos beat the North Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, Jennifer Roberts and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock made a friendly wager.
Part of the bet included volunteering in the winning team’s city as part of the Service Bowl Project. On Wednesday, she joined Hancock to make some much needed repairs and improvements to one woman’s home.
