Charges Unlikely After 18-Month-Old Girl Drowns

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A Lakewood neighborhood is still in shock after learning an 18-month-old girl drowned Tuesday afternoon.
Lakewood police say the girl was in the front yard with her grandfather while he was doing yard work and likely wandered to the neighbor’s backyard and into a pond.
The neighbors weren’t home at the time of the accident.
