Chain Reaction On Highway 85 Sends 3 To Hospital

GILCREST, Colo. (CBS4)– A chain reaction on Highway 85 that started with an auto-pedestrian accident sent three people to the hospital on Thursday night.The initial accident happened in Gilcrest about 40 miles northeast of Denver in Weld County. Police in Platteville say a driver struck a pedestrian on Highway 85 about 7:40 p.m. Thursday.That driver and another driver stopped to help and they were both struck by a third vehicle.All three were rushed to the hospital.
