CBI: Man Was Shot, Killed As He Accelerated Toward Troopers

COLORADO CITY, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a man was shot and killed at a gas station in southern Pueblo County as he accelerated toward state troopers in a stolen vehicle.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says troopers pulled the man and his female passenger over near a gas station in Colorado City on Thursday night. The man, whose name has not been released, fled on foot and stole a nearby vehicle.
Troopers with the Colorado State Patrol say the man was shot as he drove toward them.
