Car Catches Fire, Explodes On Interstate 25

LARKSPUR, Colo. (CBS4) – A car caught fire on Interstate 25 in Douglas County early Wednesday morning and then exploded, sending flames onto the grassy area next to the highway.
The traffic incident happened near the Greenland Road exit just south of Larkspur.

So far it’s not clear what caused the car to catch fire.
The flames were quickly put out by fire crews.
