Canon City Mixed On Possible Guantanamo Transfer

CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) – Some southern Colorado residents fear the possibility of Guantanamo Bay detainees getting transferred to a prison in their community as the Obama administration struggles to close the controversial detention center.
With 13 state and federal prisons in Fremont County, residents are used to having dangerous criminals as neighbors. But some say housing suspected and convicted terrorists makes them nervous.
