Buckley Air Force Base identifies airman who died in Eldora snowboard crash

Buckley Air Force Base on Friday identified the 24-year-old airman — a highly regarded intelligence analyst — who died Tuesday after snowboarding into a tree at Eldora Mountain Resort.
Senior Airman Tien Tran was pronounced dead. Tran, who was born in Keaau, Hawaii, and assigned to the 566th Intelligence Squadron, served in the Air Force for three years before his death.
Buckley was his first duty station.
