Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Aurora-Denver Line

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A brush fire broke out in warm and windy conditions near the Aurora-Denver line late Monday afternoon.
Emergency officials from Denver and Aurora were battling the fire near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Havana Street at 4:30 p.m.
There wasn’t an initial word on how large the fire is. It is burning on or near CommonGround Golf Course.
The westbound lanes of Alameda were closed at Dayton while the firefight was going on.
