Broncos Put S Bolden On IR, Promote CB Nixon From Practice Squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (The Sports Xchange) – The Denver Broncos placed safety Omar Bolden on injured reserve and signed cornerback Taurean Nixon to the active roster on Tuesday.
Bolden suffered a right knee injury during the Broncos’ 23-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in an AFC divisional playoff game. He had just returned from a hamstring injury and earlier in the game returned a punt 42 yards.
