Broncos Put Phil Taylor On IR, Sign Billy Winn

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (The Sports Xchange) – The Denver Broncos filled the roster spot of injured nose tackle Phil Taylor on Sunday by signing defensive end Billy Winn to a contract.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team, which placed Taylor on injured reserve after the 28-year-old sustained a left knee injury during drills on Friday.
Winn, 27, collected 14 tackles and two fumble recoveries in 12 games with the Indianapolis Colts last season before being placed on injured reserve.
