Broncos Notebook, Dec. 21: David Bruton Played With Fractured Leg

Last week Broncos safety David Bruton was named the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year. This week Bruton should win a Badge of Courage.
Bruton played most of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a fractured leg. Head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday Bruton fractured his fibula early in the loss to the Steelers. Kubiak thinks Bruton suffered the injury when he and Aqib Talib collided while breaking up a pass in the first quarter.
