Brief Break From The Heat For The Weekend

DENVER (CBS4) – After a slow climb all week, we hit the 90s again in the Denver area. We officially hit 95 degrees in Denver, tying the daily record high for June 16 set in 1906.
 
A cold front will move into Colorado on Saturday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures on Saturday and the chance for isolated afternoon thunderstorms. If you get a storm, expect gusty winds with most likely not a lot of rain. Storms should be very isolated. Expect the winds to kick
