Blue Flags Line Highway 285 To Honor Fallen Deputy

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– Hundreds of blue flags lined Highway 285 on this weekend to honor fallen Park County Deputy Nate Carrigan. He was shot and killed while serving an eviction notice in Bailey last week.
Two other deputies were injured in the shooting. The gunman, Martin Wirth, was shot and killed in the shootout.
Neighbors and deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office placed blue flags along a 23-mile stretch of Highway 285.
