Bill That Generates $3.5 Billion For Road & Bridge Projects Clears Hurdle

DENVER (CBS4) – A bill that would generate $3.5 billion for road and bridge projects in Colorado, including Interstate 70, passed out of the state Senate on Friday.
The Fix Colorado Roads Act would ask voters this November to approve a 20-year bond proposal.
“To where there is sustainable funding for transportation inside the general fund and with some other resources that we might be able to get from some other departments, it looks like it might fly this time,” said Randy Bau
