Biker Who Hit Hiker Could Face Serious Charges If Caught

MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) – Safety warning signs are up in Lair o’ the Bear Park as Jefferson County deputies investigate an unusual hit-and-run incident. The popular park is located just west of Red Rocks Park and the town of Morrison.
An 86-year-old hiker was walking along the Caster Cutoff trail in the morning on Sept. 10 when he heard a bicyclist approaching and tried to move over. The cyclist wound up hitting and injuring him.
