Big Warm Up Before Storm Track Returns

DENVER (CBS4) –  On the weather map a strong ridge of high pressure is moving in on the central Rockies. This will bring in above normal temperatures across the state. Denver’s high on Sunday afternoon blasted up to 81 at DIA and 82 in Downtown Denver. At the same time I am watching a batch of moisture with a cold front in the Pacific northwest that will help return afternoon thunderstorms to the eastern plains.
