CHICAGO (CBS4) – Broncos wide receiver Bennie Fowler told CBS4 in an interview during training camp that his role on special teams would be how he makes the Broncos this season.
That prediction seems like a pretty good one after watching the first half of the Broncos preseason game in Chicago Thursday night.
With 1:49 left in the second quarter at Soldier Field, Fowler blocked a punt deep in Chicago territory and Bronco Zaire Anderson recovered it for a touchdown.
