Bear Sighting In Arvada, Police Warn Public

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – Arvada police reported around 5 a.m. Friday that two black bears had been spotted in town.
They were seen near West 64th Avenue and Indiana Street. Police notified the Colorado Department of Parks & Wildlife, and warned people to keep an eye on children and pets and not to approach a bear.
Reverse 911 calls were conducted for those within a half-mile radius of the bear sighting location, and several officers looked in the area.
They did not see the bear
