Avalanche Re-Sign F Andreas Martinsen

DENVER (The Sports Xchange) – The Colorado Avalanche re-signed forward Andreas Martinsen to a one-year contract Friday.
Martinsen, 26, tallied 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 55 games for the Avalanche during his first NHL season in 2015-16. He finished fourth on the team and fifth among NHL rookies with 155 hits. Martinsen also had one goal and one assist in 10 games for Colorado’s American Hockey League affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
