Avalanche Crews Trigger Slide On Berthoud Pass

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– Avalanche crews working to prevent avalanches actually triggered one Wednesday morning.The slide put 20 feet of snow over U.S. Highway 40 on Berthoud Pass just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Av. control work this a.m. on US 40 resulted in a large slide which covered the road w 20 ft of snow. US 40 closed expect lengthy delay.
