Aurora Police Officer Arrested

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– An Aurora police officer has been arrested and placed on unpaid administrative leave.

Officer Matthew Ewert was arrested by officers from the Erie Police Department. He faces charges of attempting to influence a public servant, tampering with physical evidence and first-degree official misconduct.Ewert has been with the Aurora Police Department since 2010.
