August Snow Spotted On Alpine Web Cams, Denver Breaks Record Low

DENVER (CBS4) – Although this is Colorado, it is still August, and the sight of mountaintop snow surprised people Wednesday morning.
Tuesday night low temperatures broke a record in Denver, falling to 47 degrees. It also happened a night earlier when Monday’s low of 47 degrees tied a previous record from 1960.
In the high country, those lows were even cooler, enough for snow to stick to the mountaintops.
