Arson Investigation Launched After Fireworks-Caused Fire Damages 2 Homes

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Five people in Aurora are displaced from two neighboring homes after a fire that was sparked by fireworks heavily damaged the buildings on Tuesday.
The emergency call came in just after 6 p.m. on the 2500 block of South Carson Way. Images shared by a witness showed thick smoke pouring from the scene.

“It was started by illegal use of fireworks,” Aurora Fire Rescue Lt. Tony Krenz told CBS4.
“There’s going to be a fine.
