Armed mannequin reported in Aurora park actually dead man

Aurora police are investigating an unusual case in which a 911 caller reported seeing a mannequin armed with a weapon. But the figure was actually the body of a male who apparently died of a gunshot wound.
Police consider the incident as a “suspicious death,” according to a news release by Denver police spokeswoman Crystal McCoy.
Witnesses called police at 7:38 a.m. about a mannequin in Side Creek Park, 19001 E. Colorado Drive, McCoy said.
