Apartment Fire Forces 16 From Homes

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– Sixteen people and two cats were displaced when a fire destroyed their apartment complex.The fire broke out just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Hunting Meadows apartments near South Academy Boulevard and Chelton Boulevard in southeast Colorado Springs. (credit: CBS)
One person was treated for minor burns and another treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
