Albertson’s Stores To Begin Transforming Into Safeways

DENVER (CBS4) – Look for changes at the local Albertson’s store.
The stores are undergoing facelifts and will emerge under the name Safeway.

The two grocery stores merged last year.
Nine Albertson’s stores will become Safeway, including in Aurora, Centennial, Denver, Littleton and Louisville.
The company is investing more than $15 million in the remodels.
