Air Force May Have Inadvertently Released PFCs Into Drinking Water

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CB4) – Chemicals found in wells near the Peterson Air Force Base may have started from drilling for soil samples.

PFC levels were more than 18 times higher than U.S. Environmental Protection Agency limits were found in water in Security, Widefield, and Fountain.
