Air Force Holds Off Denver In 61-59 Win

DENVER (AP) — Zach Moer scored 15 points and Air Force survived a frantic finish to hold off Denver 61-59 on Saturday.
Moer’s jumper with 5:36 to play gave Air Force (6-2) the lead for good at 51-50. Jake Pemberton made two free throws for Denver to cut the deficit to 58-56 with 1:14 remaining. The Falcons’ Kyle Broekhuis missed a layup with 50 seconds left.
