About 10,000 People Without Power From Wheat Ridge To Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)– Xcel Energy crews were working to restore power to nearly 10,000 people in Wheat Ridge stretching to Arvada.
Customers noticed the outage around 8 p.m. Saturday.Crews were at the scene of what Xcel Energy called a “transmission event” near Wadsworth and Independence. They were trying to determine what caused the outage.Crews were working on getting the power restored as quickly as possible.
