A Line Loses Power, Passengers Rescued From Train Stuck On Bridge

DENVER (CBS4) – The A Line was down once again on Tuesday afternoon. This time the reason was a power outage along the train line. Dozens of passengers were evacuated from a train stuck on a bridge at 78th and Gun Club Road.

Firefighters with the Denver Fire Department helped rescue 80 passengers off the train at 5 p.m. The train was stopped at the Denver International Airport cellphone lot. It was unclear how long the train had been stopped at that location.
