95 Rescued Animals Arrive In State’s Largest Airlift

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Dozens of rescued animals ready for new homes arrived in Colorado at the Centennial Airport Wednesday afternoon.
It was the largest planeload of rescue animals the state has ever seen, and accomplished through a program called Dog Is My CoPilot.

A total of 95 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens were rescued from a shelter in Roswell, New Mexico, where they had only seven days to be adopted or put down.
