$900 Million Powerball Jackpot Is Record-Setting, Drawing Saturday Night

DENVER (CBS4)– The Powerball jackpot jumped to $900 million on Saturday, hours before the drawing for the record jackpot. The previous record was $564.1 million.
The Powerball prize lump-sum cash payment is worth an estimated $558 million.
There have been two Powerball jackpot winners in Colorado since the state joined the multi-state Powerball game in 2001. The state’s largest Powerball jackpot winner, Claude G. from Rifle, claimed $90 million in August 2014.
