4-Car Chase Ends With Crash Into Tree, 1 Person Shot

DENVER (CBS4) – Portions of Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard were shut down Wednesday morning after a chase ended with a crash in the intersection.
Police responded to the four-car crash that shut down westbound Colfax Avenue at approximately 4 a.m.
A white minivan came to rest in the middle of Speer Boulevard after hitting and knocking down a tree. One person was shot and transported to the hospital alive, but in unknown condition.
