2 Transported After Broomfield House Fire

BROOMFIELD, Colo (CBS4) – Firefighters actively worked a house fire in Broomfield Wednesday morning that injured two people.
A neighbor first called about the fire on Lipan Street near West 152nd Avenue at 4:30 a.m. North Metro Fire responded and worked to get the fire knocked out. Flames continued to burn almost two hours after the initial call came in.
Part of the home collapsed in the blaze, creating a challenge for the nearly 30 firefighters on scene.
