2 Dogs Attack And Kill Woman, Injure Son

CONIFER, Colo. (CBS4) – A dog attack in Conifer has left a mother dead and her son injured.
The incident happened on Monday night at a home on Black Widow Drive.

Deputies say the dogs were likely pit bulls terriers. The dogs belonged to the victims and they attacked inside their home.
The mother died at the scene and the son was transported to Swedish Medical Center with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

The dogs were taken from the home and
