100+ Car Break-Ins In Thornton In 2 Weeks

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)– Thieves have targeted Thornton with more than 105 car break-ins over the past two weeks and the rash of crime has resulted in a reward to help catch those responsible.Police said most of the break-ins have happened to vehicles that have been left unlocked. Criminals typically strike between midnight and 5 a.m.Police in Thornton said this type of crime is on the rise across the Denver metro area. They also say the majority of the break-ins are “crimes of opport
