1 Killed, 6 Hurt In Head-On Crash On Hampden

DENVER (CBS4) – One person was killed and six others were hurt in a head-on crash in Denver overnight.
The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and South Galena Street.

A silver sedan going eastbound on Hampden apparently drifted into the westbound lanes and crashed into a black SUV with five people inside. One person in the sedan died.
Police said they believe the driver of the sedan was speeding.
