Telecom with DFW data centers bought by Houston-based LOGIX Communications

A merger of two Texas telecoms has created the largest independent fiber-optic network provider in the state, the companies say.Houston-based LOGIX Communications has completed its acquisition of Alpheus Communications, creating LOGIX Fiber Networks. Alpheus has a significant presence in Dallas-Fort Worth, including data centers in the area.
