State Troopers Increasing Patrols For Labor Day

AUSTIN (AP) – Texas troopers will increase patrols over the Labor Day holiday weekend to crack down on drunken drivers and other traffic violators.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the enhanced enforcement period begins Friday and runs through Labor Day next Monday.
DPS announced that troopers, during last year’s Labor Day holiday weekend, made 488 DWI arrests and issued 8,515 speeding citations. Troop
