Reports: Wal-Mart cutting down its corporate staff
After abruptly closing a number of its Sam’s Club stores across the country, Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) is feeling the squeeze at its corporate office.The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Thursday that according to sources, the retail giant laid off fewer than 500 workers from its headquarters in Bentonville.
