North Texas Giving Day breaks record, raises $48M during 10th anniversary

This year's North Texas Giving Day raised a record-breaking $48 million to close a decade of fundraising.
The event, organized by Communities Foundation of Texas, beat last year's total of $39 million and raised nearly 12 times what it garnered in its first year. Nearly 160,000 donations were made to more than 2,600 organizations from across 20 counties in North Texas.
