ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – A $12 million mistake is leading to some big refunds for Tarrant County taxpayers.
The Tarrant County Tax Assessors Office says it will notify homeowners this week about getting a check in the mail in mid-October.
Tax Assessor Ron Wright says people who filed for a tax exemption in 2014 will get money back. Anywhere from $20 to $2,000.
