Epic move: Kimpton signs on to operate landmark Deep Ellum hotel

The Deep Ellum mixed-use development called the Epic now has a hotel partner with the signing of San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.The new venture expands Kimpton’s presence in Texas and solidifies its role in revitalizing one of the city’s most historically significant neighborhoods.The Kimpton Pittman Hotel, scheduled to open in mid-2020, is east of downtown Dallas, and close to entertainment hot spots including the Dallas Arts District and the Bomb Factory.
