City Will Return Gorilla Statue Removed After Complaints It Was ‘Racially Insensitive’

Corsicana Mayor Don Denbow stated today that the city has assessed the structural integrity of the gorilla statue and determined that with some modifications it can be placed back in the park for children to play on and around. But the city will remove the cage. This is likely going to happen within a week.
